  DON'T: An owner wants a new mailbox so digs up the old one. In the process cuts the  irrigation line.  The water pressure forces debris down the line, messing up several other valves in the system. This ties up an irrigation crew for days digging up the valves trying clear the debris. They must work slow to be careful because cable, electrical and other utilities lay in the same area. This mistake cost the owner hundreds. The owner had to pay for the repair. The HOA represents 56 owners who pool resources to operate the common areas of the HOA and to take care of bills. The 55 other owners are not interested in paying for the mistake of someone who ignores the stated policy to contact the HOA first before starting a project. The mistake and damage could have been avoided.

   DON'T: An owner wants to spruce-up their place. A new fence ( wrong size-wrong type) is erected and other modifications made outside and inside. The owner was a flipper who thought the  improvements would increase the value and create a quick sale. The owner went to sell the property but could not sell until the property was corrected to the HOA standard. It's the law. The seller must be in compliance with the HOA. The buyer must be made aware of any condition out of compliance or outstanding debt due the HOA. The mistake and expense could have been avoided.

THE SEVEN OWNERS IN EACH BUILDING WERE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE ONE COLOR FOR THE BUILDING.  SELECTED BY MAJORITY VOTE THE RESULTS ARE STATED BELOW.

 

                       The paint Sheen is FLAT.  The white trim is standard Commercial WHITE.
